Patrick Musole Bugeme is a PhD student at the University of Geneva. His research focuses on characterizing the kinetics of specific cholera antibodies following both vaccination and moderate to severe cholera infection. Over the past four years, he served as a Research Officer within the Infectious Diseases Dynamics group at Johns Hopkins University, where he worked as a research data coordinator and study site manager for a project evaluating the impact and effectiveness of mass oral cholera vaccination in Uvira, Eastern DRC. Patrick is also engaged in an mpox project aimed at improving our understanding of the epidemiology of the ongoing outbreak in Eastern DRC.
