Levi is a Medical Doctor involved in clinical and biological research. His early research focused on the exploration and characterization of the cardio-respiratory function of the people from Bukavu/DRCongo. A few months after his MD graduation, he was trained in fundamental research regarding molecular biology and microbiology before he joined Johns Hopkins University as a remote Research Assistant in the clinical and biological surveillance of infectious diseases jointly conducted with London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He is interested in understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms of diseases, how the human body fights against germs, and how the vaccines or drugs may intervene.
