Elliott Rogers is a researcher and PhD candidate at University College London developing AI-enabled digital tools to improve the use of rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs). His research combines computer vision, machine learning, and synthetic data to train machine learning models that can accurately classify a wide range of RDTs without specialised equipment. By designing scalable and accessible digital solutions, Elliott’s work aims to strengthen decentralised infectious disease surveillance and support global health programmes. Elliott also has experience conducting cluster randomised controlled trials and collaborating with government and multilateral organisations.
